On October 17, the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs issued the Announcement on the varieties approved by the Fourth Certification Meeting of the Fifth National Crop Variety Certification Committee.

In accordance with the "Measures for the Approval of Major Crop Varieties" and "Regulations on the Naming of Agricultural Plant Varieties", the genetically modified corn and soybean varieties and related information approved by the Fourth Variety Certification Meeting of the Fifth National Crop Variety Certification Committee are now publicized, and the publicity period is 30 days (from October 17, 2023 to November 15, 2023). Various test sites data, the summary details of varieties approved are publicized at the national agricultural technology network (http://www.natesc.org.cn/). After the above varieties are approved according to the procedure, the actual planting area should also comply with the relevant national arrangements for the industrialization of biological breeding.
